I learned how important it is to keep students engaged when using online learning and that asynchronous best for most larger groups.  Snychronous is best with small or one on one discussions.

It is important to share experiences and information about myself and have students share as well to learn about their back grounds.

It is helpful to keep notes of previous course work for future planning the next time I teach the course.

Ensuring my objectives are clear and concise and measurable.

Lesson plans are a good way to organize class time.

Good to have a pretest to see what the students baseline knowledge is.
