I have seen the value in having a district assigned coach for classroom strategies. I have been actively seeking a mentor and my requests have been acknowledged but this module definately confirmed the need for a mentor. Thank you!

At 48 years old just entering the CTE field I was overwhelmed and intimidated by all the new language and technology I was hearing and being introduced to at school. I was very relieved to learn that almost all CTE teachers experience the same feeling.

As a new CTE teacher I was very surprised to see how "young" CTE really is in the US. It is reassuring to see that since CTE became federally recognized and funded for youth and adults, changes, additions, improvements and expansion has been continuous.
