Activity

I intend to apply it by learning a new programs, and use it in my course. ( Dental Anatomy), and a new apps to me are Kahoot and "Visible Body".

I am very much Pro Good Communication...My School is an example of a Building a TEAM, "Treating others well", Keeping Positive attitude, engaging students in Group-studies, Helping each other, All of that should help us to build stronger retention. 

 

the most important: effective communication, counselling, keeping course/chat/sessions records, resolving student issues to minimize student attrition.

I need to prepare the students well in advance for the sessions (Synchronous or Asynchronous). Personalize the response by using each student's preferred way, identify the time of each session( max 30 min), try to keep the groups of Five or Six, so it is manageable.

Create the communication channel with students, monitor, be present in that chat..

Identify the difficulties, send personal e-mail to the student , remind about office hrs.. 

answer, if you do not the answer, respond with it at later time, keep the promise 

 

will learn the CMS ...

 I understand, it takes practice to master it. Extremely important to our students, as it is a main tool to check on their progress, ( easier to see where to complement .. and what subject to help with)

Use different methods of lecturing and delivering the info. Work on variety of technics to make sure it is understandable for a different style of learner.. will try videotape myself, see, if there any distractive mannerisms...

I need to know, how to start, and how to finish first class, (as it is a First time for me). Get ready for an additional tasks, like, creation a flash cards for students to introduce themselves. Be ready to give students a picture  on how they will see themselves in the working environment, the knowledge, expertise, ....so, it is their future, that will motivate them..

Prepare the check-list, think about what students expect from you, study, look for a new examples, study materials, get a feeling of a classroom before lecturing..

Be prepare, develop a plan, practice, practice, find an inspiring examples to promote positive thinking, desire to learn.  Be effective communicator.
