About me

I currently teach at Carrington College for the Dental Assisting Program. After being an assistant in the field for many years, I have found that I love teaching and can say that I am still looking to add to my teaching styles in the classroom, for the benefit of every student to grasp the concepts given. I look forward to completing more courses so that I can continue to deliver the material for my students to be successful in their new career.

How to prepare enough material?

I appreciate you sharing your challenge as a new instructor. I started last December. At times we can get overwhelmed because we know the information and can deliver it so quickly. I ran into the same problem. I began stretching the information and also giving group activities to research a portion of the topic and had the groups present their research.
