It is my belief and experienced in my first year under admissions, that a knowledgeable admissions advisor is an invaluable asset. It is our duty to seek out information about our universities and to make sure that information is spread accurately.

Paperwork/documentation could not be any more important in the admissions process. Applicant documents must be thoroughly reviewed to ensure they meet requirements and university documentation is crucial in order to follow correct policies and procedures.

Hello, I've previously taken this course last year and as part of continuing development, I am revisiting. I work as an admissions advisor for an international university and always enjoy relearning information because you never know what may have changed.

I've learned that it is important to maintain accurate and up-to-date documents in our reference notebook. I have already begun compiling a digital notebook in my work laptop.

This learning topic opened my eyes to the many ways that admissions advisors can learn about their university, learning experience, faculty, and more. This knowledge is important to know to be able to assist our prospective students in making the best choice for themselves.

This learning topic taught us the importance of fully informing our prospective students on their paperwork, tuition assistance, and other policies such as those pertaining to refunds. This topic made me think about how I can better my methods of filing and my admissions interviews.

Hello everyone, I am just beginning my first role as an admissions and recruitment advisor and have already seen that admissions needs to be knowledgeable of everything to do with your institution and the rules/regulations over the institution and the admissions employee. The information given in this course will help me better organize how I approach this new journey.
