About me

I've been in the medical fiewld for over 26 years now and it seems that I learn something new daily with all of the changes that are happening.  I've worked out in the field as a medical assistant and also as a practice manager for a medical office and now I'm teaching medical assisting.  I really love being a part of the medical field and love to learn more to pass on to my students.

Interests

hunting, camping, being with my family, & learning new things.

Activity

I certainly agree with that you have to be selective with your information and how you present it to the class.  If you don't present it correctly, they will not be attentive and will not be engaged in any way.  You need to make it interesting for them and also make it fun to keep them engaged and willing to learn more.  You need to present it in many different ways to kkeep them occupied and wanting to ask questions and to learn more.  You need to adjust for each class because no one class will be the same.  All… >>>

I really enjoyed this class and learned a lot from it.  It gives you a lot of different ideas that you can you use on a day to day basis but also change off and do it at different times depending upon the situation.

I think that you have to be prepared for the the class more than you think because you never know what to expect.  Always have your ducks in a row, that way you will be on your toes and your students will see that.  They will also see what it takes and will learn from it.

I'm really glad that I had the opportunity to take this course.  I really learned a lot from it.  I actually applied some of what I learned into my classroom already and I could see the difference.  I'm really looking forward to taking more classes.
