Feeling accepted because of rather than in spite of differences may be the key to a successful retention. If a teacher can bring out the benefits of background differences it may put students at ease and allow creativity to flow.

I have used scantron and like to then utilize a system which then tells me how many students mised the question. I can then see if the wording or presentation needs adjustment. I count how many students missed the question. Those questions with a high percentage of misses get reviewed and possibly changed for the next test. I am told that there is a method to aalyze this with scantron. But I've not been shown this so I will ahve to find someone who knows htis method.

There are so many possibilities of displaying video applications to the field of Anatomy & Physiology which is what I teach. It is almost impossible to teach what goes on metabolically through pictures, diagrams and text alone. Videos help convey these processies to students and are professionally produced. My students and I are very grateful to those who prvide this opportunity. Both Art and Technology merge.

As a way to keep you on time, be flexible and ready to spend some time on the subject at the next meeting. Make sure there are worksheets to help the students self evaluate if you have extra time. Be prepared to show a video or animation that goes along with the class if you find that you have extra time.
