MERLOT IS AN ONLINE LEARNING RESOURCE.

Lab simulations are especially effective in certain fields, being scientific, technology, engineering and mathematics. However, I tend to disagree that it can be supplemental to hands on learning, especially in medicine.

With VR and other new technological tools it is much easier to simulate real life situations that we would normally teach in practical lab classes.

Asynchronous learning is flexible and can be a good option for anyone.

VR and AI have provided many new ways to integrate technology into online learning.

all styles of learning should be incorporated and it is the job of the instructor to integrate these different methods and tools.

Courses should be designed with both passive and active learning elements.

Online learning needs to evolve to engage students.

Blogging may allow a student to express themselves more freely an openly.

Microblogging is another tool that might be useful in engaging students and assessing their knowledge.
