Understanding how to handle the different types of disruptive learners. This can be applied similarly to traditional classrooms.

Learning methods to engage students in the asynchronous learning platform.

I learned about ways to connect with students on a more personal level and how to engage them into knowing each other.

Though course introduction is similar, it is important to fully understand how the course management system works.

It is necessary to use different teaching styles in each class session so that all types of learners are learning something each time. Realizing that there are different lecture styles was interesting as well.

Introductions, ice breakers and covering course expectations are necessary parts of day one.

The 3 'M's of model, mange, and motivate through professionalism.
