I enjoyed David Grimes teaching methods from the videos. I am im plementing the journal in my classroom this next week.Indirect instruction will keep students motivated and focused on tasks at hand. Doing more visualization senses such as sight, sound, and feel helps students learn better. I am very excited and have even thought about the role play in an interview setting before students go to externship.

I have been very blessed to be able to keep my students close in conversations that are relevant to our discussions. My students are very well focused and engaged in all learning aspects. I do have shy sudents but able to pull them out of their shells. We all overcome challenges together. 

The information presented regarding asynchronous and synchronous discussions was valuable and provided good advice when managing course discussions amongst students. Kind constructive feedback is so very important with all students.

I have always been great at influencing, persuading, inspiring, energizing people mentally and emotionally. My students can definately contest to this. I am their cheerleader!

I plan to incorporate all aspects of course content and really focus on student interaction through online and on campus.

I find it is most beneficial to bring all different ways of teaching to my students, they really enjoy various teaching techniques.

I am most successful in teaching my students in various learning techniques because students respond well to different ways of learning.

My first day meeting my students was exciting and we were all getting aquainted and learning each others names. I spoke some on my background in dental assisting and that I had worked at Concorde Career College 19 years ago. They had many questions so I made sure I answered them sufficiently. I also made sure they knew how each module in every term worked and went over all we would be doing that week plus some extra handouts to help in that first module. I have learned to be credible candid compassionate commited and clear in all my actions as well as being professional in all aspects of the classroom. I will inspire my students to be excited for the career path they have chose and are learning for.

I have gained a great deal of knowledge in this course. Being motivated and professional in student engagement is so important as well as being there for them in any capacity in communication. Being understanding and not showing favortism builds the trust our school depends on from its instructors. Our students rely on us to teach them well so they will not only have good grades but will be cofident and succeed when they are hired in the field. In this we have kept our promises to our students.
