It is wise to investigate all technology tools and use the tools that best fit students and instructors.

One way of evaluating a course is never enough.  For the course to be most effective, it has to have many areas that are assessed.  To do this properly, multiple ways of course evaluations are necessary.

Trust is so very important in any organization.  You need to be able to trust your organization, co-worker and customers/students.  Having a mission statement gives everyone something to aspire to.  Something to put forth as their goal.  Being transparent will keep things very honest.  You need that in your organization.  Keeping to High Standards will secure that your organization is putting its best effort to be the best it can be.

Creating a dynamic syllabus gives students the direction they need to be successful. Using all tools available, scaffolding, creates a learning envrionment designed for success.

Creating course objectives and layout is a starting point.  The use and reuse of these programs help develop a solid library of things that work and things that didn't.  It is important to be able to consistently grow your program.

Clear and concise expectations should be set on day one.  What grading style is used and how students can access their grades.  Make sure all students understand late entries, extra credit and make up assignments.

What I have learned from this module is that if one teaching method doesn't work, adapt.  Move on to another, maybe more interactive way of presenting material.  You don't know how a particular class is going to perceive the material.  What works for one class may not work for another.  Be willing to switch it up with a Plan B.

I learned in this section to use a variety of teaching methods.  Don't just get stuck in one method and stay there.  Effective teaching uses uses variety and even embelish on these methods while using them.

This module has reiteratted the need to be organized, know your subject and teach with examples, realize the differences in each individual student and have understanding that things might be different for everyone.  One teaching style usually isn't the best.  Incorporate several teaching styles into your teaching to reach multiple people.

What I gathered from this Module is that all students are different. Don't think you can just prepare a lesson and everyone will understand, retain and learn it totally differently.  I learned one needs to be prepared to think outside of the perverbial teaching platform box.
