There are various mediums one can use in virtual learning. It is important to be open minded and research on how to use them for example using  Edmodo or Moodle I had to watch Youtube videos to assist me, email tech support, and/or ask a colleage.

Hello Cynthia, Group activities are a great way for students to learn from each other, comminicate, and hold each other accountable. I teach nursing and I do assign a handful of group assignments throughout the  nursing course. Students present and teach the class their topic. They may do a Kahoot and/or give a quiz to evaluate students learning! Its great to see student's creativity.

I learned to incorporate 15 min. videos explaining important theory objectives.  I have attended university courses in which the professor has mini  lecture clips, I found them helpful.

What I have learned from this module are main principles in active learning such as positive interdependence, self-directed learning, and individual accountability. It is important to have a clear, structured instructions for students to follow.

Hello, great point! What I have done to help ensure that students are doing their part in a group presenation/project is by having a document in which the group describes their role, this should be approved by the instructor prior.
