I love adding support materials in class.  Using technology to create works of media is what my program is all about and it is great to be able to introduce real-life projects that support what the students are learning.

The thing that I find most frustrating about teaching Media Arts is all the different standards we are being held to.  I have 4 different sets of standards to be judged on, and it can be incredibly difficult to find ways to cover all the standards or even really determine what some of the standards want the students to be able to actually do.

Lesson Plans are helpful and can keep you focused and on track.

I think being able to adapt and trying to bring in additional resources were two of the biggest things I drew from this lesson.  There is so much of a focus on curriculum maps and pacing guides I think we sometimes do our students a disservice by not having the flexibility to spend more or less time than what is allocated in the guide.
