It is important to have clear golas and have strategies in place for improvement. Relationships matter and being value driven and having clarity of purpose is critical to supporting our teachers.

Some effective instructional practices that are consistent with a nurturing model include providing ongoing feedback to students on projects and real world experiences that includes both positive and negative, but also a sense of what the expectations are. 

Some additional measures of soft skills teachers might consider include having students peer evaluate each other.

Some definitions that need more clarification include creativity, social facility and observation. These need to have more defined criteria in order to evaluate.

Reminding teachers and staff about the importance of why learning soft skills is important will allow everyone to get to their own 'WHY' of being in the business of helping students be successful in life after high school!

It's important to understand the chain of command in a school and/or District so as to know who to report accidents/incidents and steps.

It's essential to set up and maintain a system to evaluate safety in the classroom and also to have good recordkeeping. 

It is imperative to have regular inspections to identify potential hazzards. 

Safety in school CTE spaces is critical and needs to be revisted and planned for.

CTE instructors can embed employability skills in their teaching and classrooms.
