This seems like DEI training which is being discontinued across the nation.

I don't consider it a challenge since we incorporate communicating and socializing regularly however age and influences outside of school,ie. home life, social media pose challenges. 

These are present in structured class bear times, integrated in the daily class management and specialized clubs and organizations.

SEL is social-emotional learning. This is one method currently used to help students communicate and socialize with peers and society in an acceptable civilized manner.
