I taught the first course in this school off and on for the three and a half years I have been hear and I have fun doing it. I find that if you tell the student what you expect from them and give them a syllabus so they can follow along they will know what to expect the students seem to like it and it keeps the surprise out of the class. Model I talk to the students and let them know that I had to start somewhere also. I tell a story about what a friend told me when I was about thirty-three year old when I got fluster with a young man. My friend came in to the shop were u worked and saw that I was beside my self so he asked me what was wrong I replayed that this young man was getting to me and if he didnâ€™t listen to me I would have to get rid of hi. Music in the classroom

I find that if we have music in the classroom it is hard to have all the students agree on what music we listen to. In are school we can listen to the radio an we do not have good reception in the building.

Keeping Your Focus on the Students

Keeping students focused is a challenge some times but if you try to change your tone and keep them in gauged by asking questions to the subject matter that seems to work.

Understanding the students can be a Challenge at times. you need to talk to them as adults so they understand what you need them to do.Sometimes you need to show them a cupple of times if they do not understand.

[Understanding Student Characteristics]

We need to understand the students characteristic so we can help them with there quest to be a good technician.I have helped with students with I.E.P so they can grasp the material by staying with them as long as it takes after class.
