Activity
Be confident, be prepared and be personable and you will be successful.
Learning about your students is just as important as your students learning about you! Humanize yourself, tell them your background in the subject, career field, etc. You will increase your credibility and relatability if you do so.
Come in early and make sure you're prepared, because if you aren't, why should your students be? Set a great example and your students will listen and respect your time.
Be excited about the information you teach. It is okay to have a new "favorite" topic every day if it gets your students excited about the material so they can absorb the information better.
