I've learned to know my students in order to motivate and instruct them in this module. I have also learned to use a positive approach and appreciate them as they achieve good work and ask for feedback when necessary.
I plan to show better enthusiasm towards the course materials. I will include strategies to bypass the mid-course blues to help with student focus and retention.
I have learned to update my method for orientation at the start of a course to present a positive, open environment for my students. I have also discovered several ways or techniques to tailor and lead my lead program.
I have learned it is imperative to see the classroom from the student's perspective.
I learned that multiple sources are best practices for evaluating your work and student performance.
I learned assessments are essential to use for an online class. Rubrics, tests, or quizzes are good for assessments and provide meaningful feedback to the student.
I learned that a Dynamic Syllabus is necessary and uses web-based tools for student collaboration. Also, I realized that student scaffolding, such as building on prior knowledge, is critical.
I learn to practice consistency across all modules. This way, students will be familiar with the content workflow and get accustomed to receiving information in a particular way which will allow students to be confident with the interaction and learning material.
