this is a great list of dos for teaching, stating expectations, recognizing differences, being proactive and timely, are all helpful theories for teaching, also establishing roles for both the teacher and students with the same principles sets the class up for success.

Posting multiple types of assignments and utilizing various platforms can enhance the learning process. I will come up with a way to use social networking and have the necessary guidelines in place for the students to be able to handle the material on the different platforms.

Communication is critical to everyone involved. Guidelines for effective email communication were put forward, setting the stage on syllabi with some basic guidelines helps immensely. understanding that not all conversations can be done online, so providing the students with other forms of contact is critical.

Doing an online employee survey is critical to making sure we have the tools to be effective as an online instructor. Also, procrastination has to be dealt with because the motivation might not be there with the student having to create schedules and stick to them to be able to complete each section on time.
