I have learned that using visuals and being predictable can help modify or adapt my current lesson plans to help other students with different disabilities. Collaboration seems to be key since it is voluntary. I understand that all students must have a goal and we must share that goal to work together to meet that. Students will need to undertand that it takes time to build that trust and keep an open line of communication to make sure that the goal is being met.

 

How do you work with  Supervisors that believe their role is to point out mistakes and make you accountable without giving you guidance and reassurance on the good work you have done.

By understanding our own characteristics and how we ourselves are motivated it will help us to understand our students if we understand twat motivates them.

 

Understanding our own HABE's can help students struggling to understand their own difficulties. Sharing our own difficulties as we made our journey through education and work experiences can  help a student that is struggling with creating a vision to see a positive path for thier own future.

 

Understanding how to coach for success is a case by case with each individual student. I find it is important to get to know each student individually in order to gain their attention for retention. This section offered good advise for promoting the 3'Ms.

 

E-learning helps students develop new routines and strategies. Students are more engaged with other students as well as their instructors. Students are able to learn in any environment when the classroom is not available. E-learning also helps to keep the student engaged and helps the instructor to have more control over the content available to them. The CMS is more structured to help guide the students to the work ahead, like a roadmap.
