VOCATIONAL SCHOOLS

I had taught a Vocational Nursing class of 40 students, which consisted of a mixture of generations,ethnicities and races.The the diversity was utilized to enhance learning, through small group presentations and projects, as well as opportunities to incorporate life experiences into classroom discussion.

Student Motivation

I find that student motivation is enhanced by employing various teaching strategies that will appeal to all types of learners. Individual and group presentations,debates,and role playing are some of the strategies. It makes the class interesting and facilitates learning.

In the beginning of every module I teach,I ask the students to state what kind of learner they are. This helps me to choose what teaching enhancements to use.
