We occansionally have race teams come and use our chassis and engine dynos, this lets students work and talk with race team members. The students get an insight to what the teams are doing and what they may be doing in thier future.

Using pictures

When talking about machining the diffenent parts of and enigne it is difficult for some students to grasp. But by drawing pictures on the white board and passing around pictures of the machines that I had in my shop being used it gives them a better idea of what is happening during the process.
