The "brick wall" admissions and financial aid is not something that you would think about till you start looking into the reasons why, especially since the federal government is always changing regulations as do the states on funding. Also the thought that people would go to that much work to obtain a "fake diploma" is eye opening.
With employment trends changing so often now, having a diverse advisory board can help better field the needs of the college, curriculum and the students, along with being better able to tailor the curriculum to meet future needs in the industry.

Career Ed Lounge is embedded in over eighty professional development portals serving the career and technical education community. Performance Groups in the Lounge are integrated with related learning opportunities offered on these portals. With a few exceptions, Performance Groups are also publicly available to any member of the Lounge to maximize peer-to-peer learning and performance outcomes.
