I learned that it is important to keep a record of what changes were made to classes. That way the instructor can decide whether or not it was effective. Also evaluations are good to do every couple of weeks. 

The best way to manage teacher workload is to develop standards of communication.

Time management is key! Setting boundaries is alos very important. 

It is important for teachers to prioritize taks and stick to them. They need to be able to work without distractions.It is also important for the teacher to set up a schedule and stick to it. 

I learned that there are a number of different types of students which may be a part of the online enviroment. It is important to be proactive in my approach to working with them. It is also important to be organized and have good record keeping. I learned it is important to have information in a place that is readily available  if it was needed.

It is important to understand the different learning styles student have. This will help with managing the class a little better. Also I have a better understanding of asynchronous and synchronous learning. 

I appreciated learning the best way to create a bio to present to the students. I also like the idea of having the students post a short bio for the first assignment. 

For students to be successful in the online learning environment, it is important be prepared. The instructor should be familiar with the learning system, how they plan to deliver instruction in an engaging way, and the students they will be teaching. It is important fo the instructor to begin with an orientation to help students start off on the right foot.
