Delivering content that appeals to all learning styles
Introductions are important because it allows you to get to know your class but also allows your students to get to know you and your background in the subject you're teaching. Setting expectations from the first day and creating guidlines for your class help students feel comfortable and confident in their ability to follow the guidelines and know what the expectations are from the start.
Following your syllabus, Planning for class ahead of time and making a checklist. Holding your students accountable to the standards you set and the deadlines required.
Set a professional example for your students, Don't try to "be smarter" than them but instead show them that you love the subject your teaching and you are excited to show/teach it to them.
