I think that the lack of a trigger for follow up sometimes lets a student at risk fall through the cracks. We need to not let them down.

Talking with the students everyday

Students need to be reminded of their passion and achieving their dream. Small reminders everyday, just a touch on what sucess can mean to their lives and what it takes to get there.

Not having enough money to live is a major Stressor.

I feel that if the student can be gainfully employed within the first couple of weeks, the chances of becoming stressed over money goes down and they will stay in school.
