Learning Objectives and Standards

Covering the objectives before the lecture and connecting it to why it is important to their industry, usually eliminates questions as to why they are completing a certain task. It also increase interest in the objectives.

Presentations

One of the quiz questions was how long should a presentation last. I put no more than two hours and the the answer was as long as it takes. The attention span of learnings today is generally 45 minutes to a hour. Can I get some feedback on this answer?

Extrinsic and Instrinsic

I thought that these forms of motivation were very informative because this is what we come in contact with from our students. I would like to know however, if anyone can share a situation where the extrinsic lead to instrinsic motivation?

Student Groups

I have found that groups work very well on chapters that are difficult to students and where there is a lot of imformation. Students usually work together to come up with ways to connect the content being taught.

Eliminating Stress

It is hard for some people to talk to others about things that may be stressing them out. Some things can be personal and in this module it said to talk to others. When it comes to work related stress, it may be good to talk with the director to come up with ways to eliminate the stress.
