I think that is important to gather data from other departments as well as companies within your sector.  The more information you have the better prepared you will be to make a solid decision or solve a problem.  Thank you for sharing.

@johnestorge  you make a great point.  Follow up is key to the success of any department / company.  Inspect what you expect.  Thank you for sharing.

@rholt  I agree with you that dicision making at the management level can at times be too quick, just to try and get a result.  It is important that management consider the pos and cons of a decision and fully understand the shot and long term impact it will have on the business. 

@jacarter1949 I have to agree that everyone has a voice, an opinion, ideas and it order to grow we must listen and consider all ideas and suggestions.  Truly LISTEN!
