This is a big section with lots of information, key takeaway for me was participate in student learning give them the tools to be successful. Try new things, group projects, written assignments, work groups and more .. Be purposeful to keep student engaged. 

Understanding the different lecture formats, providing clear assignment instructions, make sure the assignment are purposeful and relevant, provide feedback with quiz to ensure test will be successful

Supportive learning, reminds me that there isn't 1 way to teach a student or group of students. Keep you student wanting to learn and provide the activities to help with that. 

This section is focusing on learning styles and understanding the learner. Overall for me build engagement with the students

interesting area, it will be good for instructor to be mindful of student engagement in class discussion. 

Understanding the difference in Asynchronous and Synchronous is important to the class and class size. Remember to have rules, and good discussion question and small groups for good learning

Remember to get to know your students, good to do a Bio from each person to get a general idea of them and things they like. It would help in leaning style.  And provide Bio of yourself.

I understood there many different ways of teaching and student learning. That as an instructor you will need to try different things to keep the student learning. Communication in different ways might help different students. Also don't allow students to go off in a different direction keep them on task of the modular at hand.
