I learned that teaching and face-to-face class versus an online course requires different teaching strategies. With either class style it is important to use clear communication and to be flexible 

Communication is key when teaching a virtual class, clear instruction, expectations, and goals will ensure students have a full understanding of the material. Also being flexible to ensure students are learning properly

communication is very important with an online class using Synchronous or Asynchronous. Establish which type of classroom your is going to be and stick to it

I learned that using technology can have a positive effect of students learning, selecting the appropriate technology is important  

Safety is number one always. I always emphasize safety especially when in labs. PPE must be worn to ensure safety

Assessing students' development, especially in a hands-on lab setting, is crucial to the success of their instruction. Using a grading rubric and constructive feedback will help students 

In labs it is important to incorporate different teaching styles for all students. Using examples and demonstration will further learning 

when teaching especially in lab situations it is important to make lesson relevant to the student's career field. Using Bloom's Taxonomy is important.

support materials and notes can help students get a firm grasp of what is being taught by giving visual examples or going deeper into the material.

Setting attainable objectives is key when building a lesson plan and will give students goals in the course.
