Developing a plan and being able to be flexible with the plan is important for instruction. Being prepared only enhances the learning experience for students. 

to be a successful instructor you need to be knowledgeable on the subject and be familiar with the students ability to absorb the material  

that there is no one way of teaching and varying styles will help keep students engaged and motivated

It is important to introduce yourself and have students introduce themselves. Lay out clear expectations and goals for the course

In this module I have learned the importance of being prepared for class and establishing clear expectations with students. I will use this lesson to prepare for classes with lists and using clear goals for students

I've learned to always be professional and be prepared before class begins to maximize student learning

In this module I learned about Intrinsic and Extrinsic motivation, as well as techniques to help motivate students with Extrinsic motivation that will lead to Intrinsic motivation. 

In the Module I learned that security and autonomy is important to motivate adult students. I plan to use positive reinforcement and constructive criticism to build their knowledge and confidence. 

In this course I learned the importance of motivating students and keeping them motivated while also being understanding of life events. I intend to utilize the lessons in the course to help further students learning by keeping them motivated and being prepared for the class.  

In the course I have learned that it is just as important to be a motivated instructor as it is to motivate a class full of students. REFOCUS is a good acronym and tool to assist students learning.
