About me
Hello, I am a wife of 42 years, mother of 6, grandmother of 4 and a nurse of 31 years. I enjoy playing sports and games of all kinds. I enjoy watching movies especially those based on true events - My favorite is "A Beautiful Mind". I also enjoy dancing, musicals and all types of music (classical, rock, soul, gospel and some country). I do not like to fail my family, my students and above all God!

I have been teaching elementary school children for years. I taught high school students when I graduated in 1973 for 3 years before going in to nursing. I have taught adults through the "AARP Safety Driver" program. Those experiences is nothing like the students that I have now. I totally agree with you.!!
I totally agree. Do you think the second instructor should leave it alone or talk to the first instructor about what is being said?
I believe it to be faculty integrity. The rule is " No drinks/food in the classroom/lab"!! No where does it say "except for faculty"!! Have you brought this to the administrators attention?

Ms. Kyle,
I wish I could help you but I am experiencing the same thing. The course stated that by informing the students of your experiences in the field validates you and should make the classroom relationship better. That has not been working for me!! I just continue to answer their questions and those that I am not able to answer I tell them that I will have the imformation by the next class! If you come up with anything else please let me know.
