Both community and 4-year colleges use service learning as an integral part of students. 

Student evaluation should be ongoing, and students should be given opportunities to evaluate their learning experience. 

Each institution should strengthen the service learning aspect of the curriculum and value its contribution to the student learning experience and community engagement to improve the nurses of the future. 

Service learning allows students to interact with the community and apply their knowledge and skills in communication and professional conduct.

We can learn something every day, no matter how long we've been practicing. I encourage students to make it their mission to learn in any situation and that nursing is a lifelong learning profession. 

Technology is an essential tool that I love to incorporate into the student learning experience. It's not going away, and students need all the resources to help them use current technological tools. 

I encourage students to share their experiences as a group and allow them to offer solutions to any problem that arises during discussions. I also find it essential to acknowledge that each student learns differently. 

I think its important to eencourage students to write about their clinical experiences and allow them to express their thoughts, use examples, and apply their foundational knowledge.  

It is essential to teach students the importance of personal and standard techniques to enhance critical thinking and apply the knowledge they learned in the classroom and clinical setting.
