I didn't think about people with disabilities really want to be known for their abilities.   As a society we need to view people with disabilities in a more broad viewpoint than how they present

I realize now that fire alarms have flashing lights so the people that are hard of hearing can be alerted.   I didn't know that closed caption was now mandatory on televisions.  Now when I see a desk that is lower than the rest it is for people in wheelchairs so they are able to use them.

After reading this material I realize that I had no idea how many different kind of disabilities there are.  I think the public only recognize the disabilites they can see.   This section has taught me about so many disabilites you don't see

This has been clarifying in what disability is and how it looks today.   We know that a "cat" is not a support animal.   Also you may not know someone has a disablity by just looking at them   Attention Deficit Disorder is considered a disability.   This has been enjoyable and informative of what is considered a disability today
