To me the most important area of this section is the ability to advertise your school on Social Media.  You can do it, you just have to make sure that you abide by the regulations of the State of Florida.  Also, always do the RIGHT THING and you won't have a problem.

Many things were learned in this section.  Obviously again it is important to be compliant, honest, transparent and making sure that you do not promise students any kind of employment.  I also learned that the Commission for Independent Education holds 6 meetings per year that I can attend if I like or they are televised and can be watched.

Always be compliant and transparent with your students and personnel.  The rules are there for a reason.  Follow the state's regulations and you will not have a problem.

It is important to make sure that you know the rules and regulations from the state and of your institution to make sure that you do no misrepresent the truth.  Be honest and with integrity.

Continuing education is very important.  Accredidation has it owns rules to follow so beware. Transfer of credits ... it is important to learn what is allowed at our school and to/from other institutions.

I learned that it is extremely important to have an opne line of communication with your students.  Do they need help in academics? Do they understand the programs? The more I know as a Admissions Director or Administrator, the better I will be able to communicate with all departments and the students.  Nothing beats first hand experience.

The admissions portion with the student is extremely important as the student or his parents are signing a binding contract.  You have to make sure that all of the information on the admission paperwork is complete, accurate and true.  There are many rules that must be followed, you need to be aware of these rules.

We are opening a Beauty Academy and this side of the business is new to me.  It is obvious from what I have read so far that there is a good amount of knowledge that must be learned to be effective and efficient in the position of Admission Administrator and as a admissions advisor.  It is important to have a thorough understanding of the rules and regulations for the state of Florida so I can be efficient in the position.  So far the course is interesting and very well made with in depth information.
