About me

I love teaching. I live for the moment that a student, who previously thought they "can't," discovers that they "can!" I have worked in the corporate world (both domestically and internationally), but I really enjoy teaching at the college level. I primarily teach for proprietary (i.e. for-profit) colleges. I'm not opposed to traditional schools, but most of my experience to date has been in the for-profit sector.

I'm published, both academically and commercially, and enjoy sharing my eclectice life experiences and past jobs with my students.

I hold a BA in English and Anthropology from Emory University; my MBA in International Business from Georgia State University, and I am completing my MA in Linguistics from the University of Georgia (having only to complete my thesis).

I enjoy teaching English Comp, but also business courses -- the variety keeps me from getting stale or predictable.
