Pretests

I agree! Pretests are a great way to establish a baseline of understanding of the material prior to providing instruction. They also provide a great point of reference against which to compare final exams to see how far students have come in the course.

This was a great course because it brought together various pieces of information for me, which will enable me to have a better understanding of the makeup of an online course and techniques regarding communication with students, assessment and feedback and course analysis and improvments.

Active Learning

It has helped me tremendously as well. I learn better this way and was able to bring this technique into my classrooms as well. Being an educator of adults, I think this is the best way for adults to learn and it works very well for me!
