Creating an evaluation system

A good syllabus can offer the tools needed
to create a good evaluation system. My syllabus provides the expectancies of the course, outlines the weight given for each area in percentages. Since the student also have
the syllabus outline they also know the weight
applied to each area. The syllabus tells the
students how the final grade will be determined and the grading scale.

Hi Ceola:
Evaluation systems should measure if a student has met the course objective, or to what degree.

There are a variety of methods to assess (quizzes, tests, essays, oral exams, projects, papers, daily exercise, homework), but in all cases the student should benefit from the assessment activity clearing revealing how their performace matches up to the standards.
