To be prepared before the class is a extremelly positive thing. since you know the subject and show you are able to delivery what you supost to do in the class by getting the respect from the students
A class does run much more smoothly when the instructor has a clear plan, arrives early, and has all materials prepared and organized. When this does not happen, the instructor has lost the students before the class even begins. It takes quite a bit of effort and costs a significant amount of learning time to regain the students' attention and get things back on track.
