Lesson Plans Not Frequently Considered at College Level

I personally do not find myself spending time writing detailed lesson plans for the semester/quarter. Frankly, I find that this process can be easily skipped if the instructor is organized by nature, creates outlines for his students, and has memorized how each lecture should be run through years of experience.

Jose,

The overall idea of "lesson plan" is ambiguous and varies based on the instructor. Structured outlines are definitely considered "lesson plans".

At the college where I teach most of the instructors do not have lesson plans. Just recently it was decided that we are supose to have them.
