
What are some innovative ways that you integrate technology into your course?
Social networking sites like Facebook and Linked In online classes . In my ground classes I use active board where the student come up and can interact with the board while we are doing the class. I also play clicker games and jeopardy and the students love it.
online learning modules are always a good option since I teach massage therapy. different techniques can be looked up and observe online
I show a lot of videos and I have found a few interactive sites where the students have to give me the answer to progress through the activity. I have also used a site that displays questions and they have to use their phone to text an answer. Of course I have to make the questions. I have also given an assignment where they had to find a related web site and bring it to class, log into the site and show the class what they found.

YouTube can be an effective tool for the classroom, however it is important to be mindful of possible copyright infringement, if proper permission is not provided.

In Evolution of Fashion (Theory and History) I incorporate the use off the discussion boards (forum) to have the students find contemporary uses/inspirations of what we learned from a trend forecasting service such as WGSN and discuss it with their peers outside of the classroom.
If there are proper resources, having the students create presentations and present the information in front of the class is a common use of technology.
As a technology instructor it plays a huge role in how I deliver instruction. I use technology in al aspects of instruction including blogs, games, and formative assessments.
I enjoy using you tube. These are short visual lessons that the students enjoy. I have used them to listen to blood pressures. The class really enjoyed it
We mostly use PowerPoint and the ocasional Prezie. We asked for a smart board but the request was denied :(
The advent of smart phones have definitely changed the dynamics of taking notes in classroom. Students no longer copy any materials displayed on the board. They just snap a pic of it using their smart phone.
Using power points and youtube videos. Also not just reading the power points but expanding on each slide as well.
I am starting new classes in 2 days and I have integrated technology. I am using their student portal to upload class assignments they can work on. This changes the traditional always doing worksheets. I'm excited about it!

There are several phone apps that can be useful in emergency critical care in veterinary medicine.
Showing the students how and where to find information at their finger tips is critical especially when there is a life in the balance. Also there are several really good procedural videos which have been instrumental in showing large groups of students techniques they need to learn. Afterwards, we have them practice what they learned from technology sources.
one interesting way to integrate technology into your course is to use Edmodo. This application allows the class to have discussion forums; it also allows you to give more information about an interesting topic to them, as well as to provide PowerPoints, videos, photos and graphic images.
Some ways that technology can be integrated into the course could be through video, applications, and devices. Videos or clips could be shown to students to give an introduction to the course or show application of the course. Applications could be used for presentations such as PowerPoint, Excel, etc. This allows the students to learn vital programs that help in their learning process. Technology devices that can be used in the course includes tablets, phones, laptops, etc. that help students take notes effectively or use the applications/programs to make presentations on the subject.
I use personal surface pro tablet with a projector to present lectures and videos from academic and careerfield websites. I am able to go between publisher power point presentations and video examples to enhance learning experience.
I love using YouTube. I show minor surgical procedures, clinical procedures, and sometimes silly or gross videos to make them laugh. You can only do so much in a mock clinical setting, so showing the videos really helps the students under the procedure.
