Lesson Plans

The daily lesson plans were so helpful to me, in my first year of teaching. I would like to know how it helped you in your first year.

When I started intructing I was provided with previous, pre-set lesson plans which I found very helpful. I also talked to other instructors that had tought that class to get some feedback from them, and as I continued to teach I developed my own lesson plans according to my style and the variety of students that I had gotten to know with time. I feel that you can not set your lesson plans on stone, students change andthe way you instruct a single lesson might not be the best way to teach it the following term.

I find lesson plans are great to have, but also give room to elaborate and expand within the lesson plan, I think it's more interesting!

Hi Melvin,
What are some of the ways you have found that make your lesson planning and delivery more interesting to your students?
