interaction with students
I have not had many student that don't like to ask questions. I find a way to get all the students to want to be involved.
I am with you on this one Marianne. My students see to jump in after a few days of class. It helps to get to know each other.
Since I end up teaching my student for multiple terms, they end up feeling very comfortable asking questions. They often end up understanding the topics better with all of the extra information we get to squeeze in.
I Love it when you finally get the new students to open up and express them self, others in the class are sometimes amazed when a quiet student speaks
Hi Evelyn, Thanks for your post to the forum. Yes, often it just takes "breaking the ice" to get a quiet student to participate. Best wishes for continued success in your teaching career.
