Graphic Organizers
I personally believe graphic organizers are an excellent tool. When used, I find that my students are able to retain the information better. The simple,straight forward visual allows one to remember just what's important while eliminating any extra information that may not be useful or unnecessary to memorize.

Graphics are very helpful. When we use graphic EQ it is much easier for the student to get the concept of EQ.
Using Graphic pictures in a visual learning (Types of Art) class helps the students see what cannot be clearly verbalized.

This method is a must in every teaching environment. I use it all the time and it shows results. The students like it too, although in the beggining they all think it's redundant but they learn to love it when they realize it helps.
