Trait

The relationship between attitudes and critical thinking is seldom discussed or included in textbooks. I believe a positive attitude should be included as a notable trait of a critical thinker.
Should attitude be included as a critical thinker’s trait? Why?

Milagros,
I agree because with a positive attitude a person is more open to observing and receiving input to solve problems. A negative attitude limits the perspective a person has in relation to the world around him or her.

Gary Meers, Ed.D.

problem solving is a big thing for some students when on a one on one basses. But do better in a small group

A positive attitude is essential with this they will listen, try and apply the ideas of critical thinking. If the negative attitude is present there are so many obstacles that the student has trapped himself in and the instructor to.
