This is often true with the more advanced students in the class. We must adhere to the entire student body. Also be aware of that everyone enjoys praise for their accomplishments within the class. Engaging students often leads to future mod success because they become part of their learning experience.

Sometimes we forget to do these things and get caught up in rushing through material to ensure we cover everything. But the students get more from the presentation of the material when we do the things you have listed in the post.
