Get organized and Stay focused
By being organized and professional gives students a sense of what it will be like in the real world.
Getting organized and staying focus in the class not only gives a professional image to the student but it also sets a professional example for the student that they can carry over into the work place. Students respect instructors more if they are organized, on time, and show consistency throughout the course.
My first classroom experience stills gives me chills when I recall how unfamiliar I was with the material. I've found that as I prepare more for subsequent classes, my stress level in the classroom is far less and that student respect is greater.
