Grading

We have standardized lab sheets the students write answers on.
This makes grading them labor intensive.
I streamlined my work load by collating the sheets numerically before I grade them.
This file system helps save time if I need to find one to review with a student.

This seems like a less stressful way to handle this type of grading.

I keep them in alphabetical order and stapled together. Then I put them in a folder labled with the number and lab title. This makes for greater time savings.

I also alphabetize them so I can enter them into the lectronic grade book faster. I do the same thing with my lab sheets as I do with the tests.

Sounds like an excellent system James. Getting information in and out of the grade book quickly is the key.
