handling stress
do other things, don't dwell on things that aggravate you, I hunt and fish, find these are great stress relievers
Michael, These sounds like great outlets, especially if you live in the right area. Sometimes just sitting out on a lake for the day is enough to change your perspective and give you the break you need.

Stress relievers are awesome ways to deal with the tensions of stress. I like to go motorcycle touring, because it takes me "mentally away", but then there are situations that I have zero control over that I just "deal with" and accept that they cannot be changed.
Ask for the will to change the things i can and the ability to accept the things i can not change and the wisdom to know the difference. Then you can be stress free.
Kisha, Great saying and so true. Sometimes we need to have a few of these in our back pockets that we can lean on in a crisis.

This is just of the ways to help handle stress. Each individual person needs find their way to stress.
I like to take my jeep out and go offroading as well taking a walk after work has become a good habit for me.
David, Your offroading idea sounds exciting. It's wonderful when you can find an outlet that really engages you. Helps take your mind off of everything else.

To handle stress, I take a nap, go shopping, go out with friends, or just go into a quiet room just to be by myself.
Brittney, These are all great ways to handle stress. I love hearing that you have so many different outlets to fall back on. This means that when one outlet isn't available to you, you can lean on another!

I agree. I love being outdoors. I love go boating to relief stress. I also, like to watch movies, go for a walk and talk to my family members.
I think that is an excellent way to go about handling stress. Initially I don't spend a lot of time and energy trying to change a situation that I most likely will not be able to change, instead I focus on the situations that I can change. Through prioritizing and achieving positive outcomes from the situations that I am able to change I get a sense of accomplishment, and that sense of accomplishment gives me that "I can do this attitude". I'm then ready to deal with the more stressful situations that may be unchangeable. I relate it to winning small battles before attempting to win the war. I also participate in an exercise routine. When I achieve my exercise goal it too gives me a sense of accomplishment and that sense of accomplishment again contributes to that "I can do this attitude". Watch out stress because I'm coping.
Carlos, This sounds like a well-balanced approach and I appreciate the details you provided. Yes, we can only focus on controlling the things that really can be controlled. It's tough but we've got to let go of the rest. it sounds like you have learned that lesson well. I'm also glad to hear you have an exercise routine. That's so important in helping to both stay fit and unwind. Nice work!

I just start thinking on ways to solve the situation in order to get feel better and I listen to music or just runing
Olmarys, Music and running and two great outlets. Some instructors do them separately but it can be fun do try them together, depending on the speed of the music of course.
