What to do with perpetually unfulfilled student?

and how to protect a rest of the students from negative influence as well as instructor from undeserved disapproval from the administration

Hi Karina,
Students should not have to put up with negativity from other students. The negative student(s) needs to be dealt with. Instructors have to either conform or find employment elsewhere.

Individual counsel is the best method. First identifying that perception is 90% reality regardless if it's intentional or not. Then identifying that it's the precieved behavior not the student as a whole. Perhaps dealling with it as another chapter topic in the text, i.e. "professionalism"; and provide examples of professionalism that are in opposition to those the student exhibits. Lastly, tying it all together with the concept that in order for a student to succeed in the work world they must be and demonstrate professionalism especially within the professional setting or work environment.
